Verusenaga Pappu Putnala Podi

This is a recipe from my Mother in Law.She loves spicy food and probably can never do without spices.She sends this podi to us whenever anyone comes from India.You can add this podi to vegetable stir fries like beans,bell peppers,cabbage etc in the end.

Preparation time:15 minutes
Serves:multiple


Ingredients:
1 cup Peanuts
1 cup Bengal Gram / Dalia
1/2 cup Powdered Dry Coconut
3 garlic cloves
10 Red Chillis Adjust to taste
Salt to taste

Procedure:
1.Dry roast the ingredients separately to a medium brown color and allow them to cool.
2.Skin the peanuts.
3.In a blender add the roasted peanuts, dalia, salt, garlic and red chillis and coconut and grind into a powder.

Tips:
This can be served with rice, idli, utappam and dosa
You can also add this podi to vegetable stir fries like beans,bell peppers,cabbage etc in the end.
