Mango Panna Cotta

Panna cotta is an italian dessert where cream, sugar and gelatin are combined to a mixture and is allowed to set to form a dessert. This is very simple to put together.Use your favorite moulds to form a delicious and beautiful looking dessert. You can use wine /champagne glasses and layer it with jelly to make it colorful. If you know me,i'm a diehard fan of mango,so this is a variation of the regular Panna Cotta with Mango
Preparation time:20 minutes plus additional time to set
Serves:8

Heres is one with whipped cream

Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream or full fat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mango puree
2 teaspoons powdered gelatin
1/4 cup of sugar(adjust to your taste)

Procedure:
1.Heat 1 1/2 cups of the cream in a pan on a medium low heat.

2.Add the mango puree and vanilla extract combine.

3.In the remaining cream add gelatin and mix and warm in microwave until completely melted.
4.Add the gelatin to the mango cream and combine well and turn off the stove.

5.Pour into moulds or ramekins. Refrigerate for about 4-6 hours until set.

Tips:
If you want you can serve as is or gently warm the base of the ramekin to loosen the panna cotta and invert onto a dessert plate and serve with fruit of whipped cream on top.
You can also use china grass or agar agar for vegetarian version.
The liquid should just be simmering,do not apply high temperatures.
You can make a plain version of this by substituting mango puree with milk. You can drizzle caramel sauce, chocolate sauce etc on it for added taste.
